- Porter: Help with luggage, assist with car parking, provide local information, reserve tours, arrange transport
- Night Auditor: Cover the night shift on the reception desk, balance accounts, reconcile end-of-day takings, generate operational and statistical reports, oversee security
- Telephonist: Answer incoming calls and divert to relevant sections, perform wakeup calls
- Reservationist: Respond to reservations enquiries, process reservations, update website, up sell rooms,
Food and Beverage:
In simple words food and beverage can be defined as the process of preparing, presenting and serving food and beverages to the guest. It can be anywhere like hotels, restaurants, cafes, pubs and other places.

- A restaurant manager: takes overall responsibility for restaurant operations, often with a particular focus on the customer-facing aspects of the business
- Waiter staff: Take reservations, greet and seat patrons, up-sell menu items, serve dishes, communicate clearly with kitchen, make coffee (barista), set and clear tables, use POS system (cashier), process payments (cashier), handle complaints
- Bar attendants: Provide bar service, dispense drinks, comply with responsible service of alcohol (RSA) laws, collect and clean glassware, make coffees, manage stock, process payments, use POS system, clean and sanitize work area
Kitchen:
The Kitchen department is a sub-department of the Food and Beverage operation of a hotel. The main functions of a kitchen are to store, prepare and cook food.

- Kitchen hand: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils, basic food preparation, basic cooking processes
- Cook: Prepare, cook and assemble food according to recipes, maintain a clean work environment, ensure that all hygiene practices are followed
- Chef: Food preparation, more complicated cooking processes, portion and serve meals, receive and store supplies, clean and maintain kitchen areas, ensuring food safety standards are maintained
Housekeeping:
Laundry attendants: Clean and press bed linen, staff uniforms and guest clothing, distribute items to the correct destination, provide mending services

- Room attendants: Clean and replenish guest rooms, remove used laundry and rubbish, administer turndown service(btw 5pm -9pm), set up in-room equipment, carry out guest requests, check and restock minibar
- Public area attendants: Clean general areas (lobby, toilets, restaurant, etc.), restock service pantries, refill chemical containers, clean and sanitize equipment
- Butler: Perform personal services for VIP guests, e.g. unpack luggage, shoe shine
